Minced Salmon and Pork with Corn and Capers
A little twist to make salmon's texture more tender.
Salmon is very good for us with its rich omega, protein and good oil. And it gives your skin subtleness! But after a while, Salmon’s texture can feel boring.
So to shake things up, I added grounded pork. It added tenderness to the salmon’s texture. The result was a 15-minute dish that is nutritious, healthy and hmm hmm good!
INGREDIENTS -
Salmon, pork
Fresh corn (with stem), fresh red chilli
Salt, black peppers, corn starch
PREPARATION -
Ground Salmon and Pork (50 / 50 portion). Mix them. Add salt and black pepper.
Add a small amount of water to the corn starch. Mix it. Add the mixture into the salmon and pork mixture. Stir until evenly mixed.
Remove corn kernels from the stem.
Cut fresh red chilli into small pieces.
COOKING -
On a heated flat pan, add olive oil until heated.
Add salmon and pork mixture, stir-fry until the colour slightly changes. This should only take about 2 minutes.
Add corn kernels and capers. Stir fry for another 3 minutes.
Done and enjoy!
LOVE FACTOR -
The tenderness of the salmon’s texture, thanks to the added pork.
The sweetness of the corn pairs perfectly with the sourness of capers.
